報告摘要:For the non-rotating gaseous stars modeled by the compressible Euler-Poisson system with general pressure law, Lin and Zeng recently proved a turning point principle, which gives the sharp linear stability/instability criteria for the non-rotating gaseous stars. We prove that the sharp linear stability criterion for the non-rotating stars also conditionally implies nonlinear orbital stability against general perturbations. If the perturbations are further restricted to be spherically symmetric, then nonlinear stability holds true unconditionally.  

報告人簡介:朱昊,南京大學數學系助理研究員,博士畢業于山東大學,曾獲博新計劃資助,主要從事流體動力學和微分算子譜理論等方面的研究。
